Hiya,

I have installed my X3IR and like others am somewhat disappointed that this only powers on and off the XBox and does not replace the DVD dongle.

That aside the ability to turn the XBox on is still a good feature. The only problem being that it turns it on with the modchip disabled. How do I turn it on with the modchip enabled? Without this feature to me it is completely useless as I will still have to go upto the XBox to turn it on. My XBox is used mainly to stream media so always requires me to start it with the modchip enabled.

Anyone know how this is done?

Thanks,

Daz

Thanks for all your answers smile.gif smile.gif

After loads of trawling I have found out that the Select button allows you to turn on with the modchip enabled.

Why is there such a lack of documentation on this? I don't understand why the team Xecuter website does not appear to have any detail on it at all.

Anyways I have found out the answer anyways. It's still a shame that this could not have removed the need for the DVD dongle.

You and me both.

It sounds like we use our Xboxes for the same purposes, and were both misled as to what this X3IR did.

If I knew I was gonna have to spend $30 on this, and then $30 on the DVD remote, I never would have bought it.

How were you misled? Who told you it could do more than power on/off?
