i still dont think that it would make much difference, but if want to change the heat sink, theres nothign wrong with that.

im over calling people paranoid about their cooling

eh im not paranoid, just cautious. And usually when you manufacture something a certain way, and made with cost in mind usually things DO matter. but hey, for each their own

fair enough. well your right, replacign teh heatsink with the bigger one of a later version xbox probably isnt suach a bad idea when then fan is dead.

are you goign to use silver artic glue or something, or just leave it how it normally is?

im still not toally convinced that its worth the money (esp with stock processor and stock haetsink), but it will drop it down by one or two degrees
