Instead of sanding it down, just leave it in some paint thinner until the paint starts to wear off. But do not leave it in their too long or it will start melting the plastic (like over 24hrs).

well it depends on what in the paint thinner. some might melt the box in like 10mins.

This is what happened when i sprayed in cooler weather, might of had to do with the paint but I didn't sand it down since it's on the side of my xbox and out of view. Basically it bubbles up, you can get some of them out but I live in FL and humidity is high and it was freakishly cold for us down here, the paint wasn't coming out great either. I know for next time though
