I'm fairly impressed with the graphics. Lara looks good. The backgrounds are well textured. The only thing I see that's nasty is the rope in the last pic. Why can't they make that 3D? Probably one more thing to fix in the next 2 months or so. Enjoy:

I believe they brought back parts of the original team (designer, story writer, and lead programmer) just so it wouldn't be an abomination like TR4 and TR5. I'm really looking forward to this game if it's anything like TR1 and TR2.

I don't find these pics encouraging. Graphics are less beautiful than formerly. For example, the video of X05 was much more impressive smile.gif .

dont compare some pics to a video. games always look better in motion then in a still frame. besides in a real-time cutscene games usually look better because the developers have more control over the resources.

I agree with you but the difference is really large. Screenshots of the video (it's not the same game biggrin.gif ) :

She must work out. Her calves in the 4th picture on the first link are huge. They're almost as big as calves, and I mean the other kind of calves, baby cows.

Looks ok to me. Nothing stellar but not too disappointing, you can see its another port so mostly the textures try to make it look good, and of course thats not enough for a true next gen game. And Lara looks more like lara since the first game in the series.. ahh some good times with my Saturn.

I bought a ps1(actually several, effing things kept dying) JUST for TR 2. Im still disgusted that it went Exclusive, especially seeing as right b4 the Saturn version was canned, Core announced in GameFan that they dug into the Saturn and its version of TR 2 was superior to the ps2 version.

I couldnt stomach owning that pos so I unloaded it and bought a Dell pc in '98 mostly for TR 3 and Unreal smile.gif

i hope TR doesnt dissapoint, ive been waiting for this moment a long time, the only 2 games worth buying a pshit2 are tomb raider and gran turismo, amd its not worth buynig a pshit2 for 2 games in my book
