ok, ive looked eveywhere for this and cant find anything. im at a friends house, he wanst me to softmod his box, so did, so he went out and bought a hdd for it, im gettin ready to put it in and realize i have no idea how to set it up. now, ive found the tuts on how to do it, but the problem is he has an old pc, no floppy drive or burner. is there any way possible to do it without those? i cant find anything, i can ftp into the box, everything, i just need to set up the hdd.
by the way, flashing the tsop isnt really an option since i cant get anyone to tell me what bios to use that wont frag it

kickass...worked like a charm. ok one more quick question, when i was in the unleashx softmod menu, i did the patch 5096 and it did, but when i boot to the ms dash, it says updating live....could not reach live...then keeps doing that in a loop.. any ideas? also, can i use that dash as my dvd player when in xbmc?

get a win98 disc and boot from the cdrom, it will act like a old 98boot floppy.

yeah dude, cause everyones got win98 discs laying around....anyway, ive got it working.
