Direct Spec Compairson, Xbox360, Playstation3, Revolution Options

I'm quite "confident" that Sony is full of shit on some of their projected specs. I'm not saying PS3 is bad at all. It looks fantastic. But I have reason to believe that 2TFlops is manure. They are estimating and that is an inflated estimation at best. I won't get into details, but I'm going to say this: It will render you the best damn pictures you've ever seen, but visual enjoyment is all you'll get from them. They'll have to scale back the graphics to get the gameplay element you desire.

Isn't funny that most of the "features" they talk about you can already do in most of the current xbox games. "Match Making" started with Halo 2, "personal gamer scores" Halo 2, being able to send messages to other people who are playing different games started with that wole Live Aware thing. But now I can buy useless trinkets to dress up my avatar, watch game/movie trailers and download game demos. But I don't care for movie trailers and I get game demos from OXM.

Now the reason why Sony didn't really talk about there features was because they were too busy showing off there games. The MS Press Conference was a collosal disater just like the MTV thing. How can MS Hype up there new machine and only mention the game that actually made them some money once, Halo. They didn't even run any tech demos!?! Now don't get me wrong I love Xbox but there marketing stratgey was a complete failur in my oppion.

i'm wondering why Ps3 needs to have 7 controllers, i think four is more than enough. 7 is just werid, not even an even number. Unless it saying that there is 7channels for controllers, so you could have 2 ps3 together and not have to worry about overlapping signals.

Wow gigabit ethernet on the PS3, and 2 HDTV outputs. I'll have to buy a second HDTV.

Seriously though, for the PS3's sake, I hope Sony ups the minimum graphical requirements for the game developers. We've seen all too often, if they aren't forced to support widescreen and HD modes, they won't.

personally i love the idea of having the option for more controllers. i mean why would you complain about it if the system could support 50? you don't HAVE to buy them. let the consumer decide how many is enough. i'd love to invite 4 friends over and have all 5 of us play on the same team in an NHL or NBA game...or have 10 of us play 5 on 5. why would you think that 4 is more than enough?

7 players on 2 HDMI-connected HDTV's... Juicy. I'd love for that to happen. The reason for 7 and not 8 is that Bluetooth only handles 7 channels simultaneously. They shoulda used wireless USB. Oh well.

Where did you see that? Sony says it´s optional in thier own pressrelease.

But if you read sonys OWN pressrelease at the end it says:

I would belive thier own pressrelease much more than an article cnn wrote.

for the little color comparison. on the projection screen, it shows the revolution in white, red, black, green, and silver. whether they really intend to sell them that way who knows. but thats whats shown.

also, here's the comparison i'm missing.

with xbox they've shown "here's what it looks like", here's what it's got", and "here's what it will do" (for the most part).

where as sony and nintendo pretty much have only covered the looks and the internals. i really wanna know what its gonna do. what do they have to bring to the table? whether you care or not about the extra live features or the multimedia center stuff, 360's giving you a bit. i'm not saying 1 is going to be better than the other. i'll make that decision when all are released and have a respectable library to compare from. thats the only real comparison you can make. specs are specs. i just want to know if what sony and nintendo are doing to enhance the experience.

Sounds to me that you are a $ony fanboy.

I can admit that the ps3 is ace. I thought that it outperformed the xbox 360 after I saw the killzone 2 footage but apparently that wasn't even real ingame footage.

You can't really compare it to the xbox 360 anyway becasue xbox 360 has feck all, just hot air about human energy, no games to compare to at all.

I not a fanboy for anyone. It just makes sick to think that people are so sold out to one system that they lose all logic. I'm thrilled about all the systems coming out. I will (wife willing) purchase them all. I like to have a variety.

I just don't see why people hate (insert hated console here) so much. Usually for no good reason!
