Hello. I recently upgraded and installed an X3CE chip. I know everything is installed properly, and all connections are fine.... I have tested the chip in two xbox's. Well, when I first started it up, got to Flashbios 3.00, and flashed it via DVD. It reads it fine and flashes properly then shuts off. But when I turn it back on, ( just short press of power button), it turns off in like a second??? No fragging, or nothing, just shuts off right away with blue LED. I have unplugged the bank selector and everything. What could it be??? Please help me. ohmy.gif Thanks.

EDIT: I can always access the flashbios when I press the power and eject buttons....

edit: Have an XBox version 1.1 and installed the X3ce with the solderless adapter.
I flashed via cd the latest bios from xbins.

@js042507-
So that exact same x3 chip in a different box, with a different header works just fine? When you put it in your box it fails. When you put it back into one of the other boxes what happens? Does it fail or work?

@schlehdorn-
what was the number of the latest bios?

@both-
This sounds very much like my chip. It was working, then I shorted somethig out on it, and all it would do was turn on, show a blue light and shutoff. All i could do was boot to the backup bios, where i reflashed it and everythign was ok.

I'm having the very same problem with 1.4 Xbox.
Chip fitted with solderless adapter and seemed to flash successfuly with 3294 from xbins and then switched off.
Long push takes me to Microsoft dash but short push starts to boot and then powers down.

Anyone solved this?
