Is there a simple way to make a backup of a game you own simply using a PC DRD-RW or CR-RW without changing the BIOS on your box, loading Evox?? on the hard drive or mocking up some more with the hardware. Can someone use plain simple english, I am very confused with all of this. Cheers

NO
As of now, you need a mod chip that is capable of running unassigned code, which they all do. If you want a larger HDD you will need to make sure they have evox biox 2.2 or later I believe, or get an X-ecuter. Pc-Bioxx is the way to go as of now though I would say. Take a look around the forums, this answer has been responded to plenty of times. |

The best way to backup your original games so far is to install a mod that can do the larger hard drive and i use boxexplorer to copy the whole dvd to the hard drive and play it from there so that my original games are left alone as we all know that the more you use them the more scratchs they get and then one day you will get errors.
The other thing to do is to copy the whole game to the hard drive and then ftp then to your pc and make an iso and them burn them to dvd and you have a working backup that will only work on a modded xbox |
