Nope I never heard of it. I think you have updated with a game on modified fw on the drive. You might need original disc. Also, you might wAnt to clear storage on your internal storage. I had an update error before too when my internal storage was full.

Most likely its the following

1) You replaced the drive at one time and its not the proper drive that supposed to be in there. Must have same original type in there
2) Your drive is modded and is on an older firmware, some LT+ firmwares can be left on and will be over written, but if its older then LT+ then it will have to be restored to stock.

Most likely you will need to restore the drive to stock firmware with your key, then run the update again. You need to run the same update for whatever dash version you were trying to update to or use the same game. Sometimes these can be a little tricky.
