Hello,

Trying to change the video mode of my Softmoded Xboxes I tried the "EEPROM_off.bin" and "shadowC_off.bin" files in E:\ to no avail. It loose the setting after a cold boot.

My systems are softmoded by Xboxhdm that I found the tutorial here. Searching the web I fell on this Heimdall Disc "HeXEn 0.99B11-21.rar" that the description says :

It has one-click fixes to all common softmod problems:
- turn shadow C on and off
- turn virtual eeprom on and off
- enable or disable 480p and VGA

I managed to get this Rared file but it is Password protected !
Is this program real and can do what it says? if so, anyone have an idea for the password or better, a working way to change the video settings without opening the box and redoing all the softmode ?

(I don't have any games to use their exploit)

It's being beta tested at the moment. Once I get the thumbs up from the testers I'll make an unprotected version available.

And yes, it is real, and it does exactly what it says. smile.gif

Thanks for clarification. It would really be great if it free us to backup and redo all the softmod procedure each time we would like to change an Audio or Video setting. Sometimes I wish there was a boot cd to just boot to MS dash !

The password is Heimdall01.
