Compiled Version With Libmyth Ver .21

X-S Enthusiast Group: Members Posts: 12 Joined: 11-February 08 Member No.: 372999	The newest T3CH (9 Mar) seems to have the .20 client. Is there a compiled version with the .21 client? I can't access my backend until I get an update. Thanks.

I'm running the 20 April T3CH build and can connect to my v21 mythbackend as well as list channels and recordings but cannot play live tv or recordings (or view the guide). When ever I try to play I get - CODE Playlist playback aborted, Too many consecutive failed items. Normal video playback over SMB is fine. I don't know whether the guide is new in this version (which I haven't loaded yet) or just something I haven't tried yet. The mythtv support is still so kludgy (at least in T3CH 04-06) that I am still using the xbmcmythtv script. This weekend I am going upgrade my backend to hardy (mythbuntu 8.04) and try the last T3CH SVN build. If I find something out, I will post back here. If you haven't seen it, you may also want to check out the AEON skin and mod that I talk about here: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4938046 It makes the new mythtv functionality a bit more usable. My mythbackend already transcodes everything into xvid so I can watch it via xbmc and SMB, albeit with a few hours delay. Cheers, Allan

There are occassional minor fixes to xbmcmythtv, but nothing resembling active development.
