I have an independently powered (powered through the 360) high speed USB2.0 Splitter Connected to the rear USB port on my 360, and then I have the Xbox 360 wireless adapter connected into the splitter. It works on Xbox Live but will it slow my Xbox Live internet connection down? I can’t see a noticeable difference but every bit of data affects you in the end. cool.gif

Edit: My bad, I forgot to mention, it is a 4-port Hub, if that makes a difference at all.

So the USB Hub actually helps the signal? Mine is 480mps as well.

i'm not using a hub but im using a 6ft 2.0 cable . i have my wireless mounted on the top of the wall , noticed a increase in signal ( big time ) . might try one of the usb acclerator devices on it or put on a splitter and try using two or more wireless adapters at the same time .

it wont slow it down, as long as the cable is shorter than 15 feet.

it doenst help or hinder the signal. but it will allow you to get the antenna to a better location. all usb2.0 is 480mbps

there is no such thing as a USB accelerator. 2 wireless adapters wont help, and might confuse the 360. (i dont know) if not, only one would be used.

no he didn't, I was almost 100% sure that it would not help the signal, because it is just an extra piece in the way, I was worried that it would hurt the signal, he answered my question great.

- thank you all.
