1) If I want to hack Halo (add mods, maps, etc.), do I need the Halo game to be on the HDD of my modded Xbox and then FTP it. Or can I put the game in the disc-tray and then FTP it?

2) If I want to run emulators and roms on my modded Xbox, do I need to have the emulators & roms on my Xbox HDD, or can I burn a DVD (or CD) with a emulator and roms on it and run it on my Xbox?

Thanks in advance!

1. You can use dvd2xbox to copy it from disc right on xbox to the xbox hdd.
2. Either way will work.

In reply to mrRobinson,

I only have the original Xbox HDD, and I don't think I can fit Halo on it. Is there another way to hack the game besides putting it on your Xbox HDD?

With the original xbox hdd you should be able to hold one game as long as you have about 4gigs left on E:. If you want to back them up off your xbox, I think you'll need to put them on the xbox first and then ftp them to your computer, I haven't tried this yet though.
