I have a xbox im thinking of selling (depending on price)
Its a 1.4 Softmodded Halo 1 LE edition xbox with a phillips drive (reads everything i throw at it) a seagate 250gb hdd, 2 Microsoft Controller S (1 green+1 black) 1 Nyko airflo Controller, and 19 games.

they're on the hdd, but i have the orginals, theres around 20, halo1+halo2, fable, forza, mechassualt, splinter cell, splinter cell 2, burnout 3, dance dance revolution 1+2 (also 5 pads) fuzion frenzy, mlb slugfest 2003, lego star wars 2, star wars battlefron 1+2, greg hastings paintball+maxd, espn ncaa 2k5+nba 2k5, madden 2006, sega gt 2002/Jet set radio future. there might be more, if i find them i would add em

Isn't this why some nerd invented eBay? Its worth is determined by the highest bidder. Or does ebay not do modded consoles?

ebay will close your auction if they even suspect it's a moded console.

Some people get away with it but more often than not you'll get caught and shutdown.

wait, its not ellegal to mod your console, so why cant you sell it? as long as you dont have anything pirated it should be legal right?

eBay rules state you can't. They are free to make whatever rules they want for their site.

Modding is too fuzzy of a line. Having a modchip in your Xbox you are selling isn't illegal, but having the EvoX BIOS compiled with Microsoft's Xbox SDK on it, is. Even Xbox Media Center compiled with XDK is illegal. So, modding is legal but the software on it, is usually not, and eBay doesn't want to skirt that line. So, they make it all against their rules.

I've had my Xbox's up for about a week now but they are only visualy modded, i DO mention i can softmod them and they havnt beem taken down YET tongue.gif lol

EDIT : forgot to mention they are listed on ebay, the UK one, someone is buying one off me today actually
