say you have your 360 fw modded and you find out MS is banning people from live with it, what do you plan on doing? selling your 360 or can you reflash it back to the original and be fine?

Buy the game and play it legit... or play backups on xbconnect.

To bad the BIOS is now epoxied, that solderless dual firmware mod would have made it alot easier to switch between the 3 firmwares for this purpose.

i would have no problem with that but if you get banned on live and buy legit games you can't play them anymore

xbconnect isn't too good

Buy a 2nd 360 and keep it unmodded.....
one thing for sure....Xbconnect isnt that good


BTW: Once word gets out that M$ is banning for FW mods, everyone will unplug.

Many people seem to forget that if you have an automatic dash update from a GAME not Live, that this hack can be easily detected, firmware selector or not. The selector becomes useless. As soon as you boot up on Live, they CAN ban your account if they wanted to.

I think what i'll do is reflash it - I love live, the 360 sucks without it

all these other free services suck

I just hope that it's not soon! I hope something comes out where we can switch back and forth like my xbox

Thus far they just ask you weather or not to update from live and if you decline you just get signed out. And when future updates come up on games, don't even update. Simply wait a day or so after you see it on news servers for some sorry sucker to post to these forums that their fresh out of the burner game just got them axed from live and/or rendered the firmware hack useless. rolleyes.gif

depends what they did. i wouldnt buy another live subsciption thats for sure. id probally buy a ps3 and play games online for free!. or i would just do nothing? lol.
