I am having extreme rendering issues with Rumble Roses. I have render spikes popping up everywhere. No matter what resolution I set the 360 output to, its the same. None of my other games do this, except for Ridge Racer, but its very, I mean very, minor in Ridge Racer. Yes, my box is well ventilated. Yes, i'm using a cooling device as well. As I said, none of my other games do this. Anybody else have this problem or a solution for it?

Def -

you know as well as i do that a new dvd wont fix anything.

spiking in graphics whether it be a pc or console is caused by heat.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you have your console ventilated!!!

personally i have taken 4 pieces of styrofoam and placed them under the 4 corners of the xbox i have atleast 4 inches of air moving along the sides. 2 inches underneath(thanks to the foam blocks) and the back side of the xbox is totally open.

i know EXACTLY what your talking about with "spikes" i used to get them all the time on my old ATI 9700 Pro on my old pc when the card was just getting WAY too hot...

so really think about getting the unit some better ventilation and if your room is warm... your 360 is going to be running warmer.. so keep that in mind also.

actually i got to thinking....

the spiking isnt caused so much by heat as it is faulty ram on the video chipset... i was sitting here thinking about it and i remembered i had to RMA my old 9700 pro because of the ram and all the spiking i was getting once i rma'd it i got a different one back and everything was ok.

its already been said that there are some xbox360's running around out there with bad ram in them so call MS and see what they say. and ask for an RMA.
