Prey Update - Free Content Options

well, a time frame would have been nice, but at least we know that the downloadable maps and characters will be free.

September 15, 2006 - Last month we reported on the existence of a Prey patch and update that would add new content. Today we received an update on the status of the new content along with some good news. The patch is still in the works, though there isn't any timeline for when it will be released aside from, "when they're done." The good news that was passed on to us is that the new Prey content will be free for both the PC and Xbox 360 versions.



The new content being worked on is set for the multiplayer portion of Prey. New skins are being made that will give players a fresh online look. New multiplayer maps are also being worked on, though the exact numbers for both maps and skins has yet to be confirmed. The official announcement can be read on the 3D Realms website.
