Hi, is there another way of getting the keys from an hitachi 79 other than with the 79 disc.......cause the drive does not work.....my dvd rom is recognized in JF but how to get keys?

put that pcb in another working hitachi drive (any phat hitachi, keep laser ribbon on pcb).

just keep using the 79 board in the new drive. you can even put it in the 79 case to look legit.
