I've been trying to stream some blu-ray rips from my iMac to my 360 via wireless connection, thanks to my external blu-ray drive I got for free. I'm using Connect360 for sharing.

Problem is, it skips all the time. iMac is on the Wireless-N network, while my 360 is hard wired to my router. It's a Netgear WNR-1000v2-VC with proprietary firmware from Comcast. Before you ask, no, I can't flash to the official firmware from Netgear's website. The VC model for is blocked from those firmwares thanks to Comcast.

I've tried a couple of episodes of Dexter, and the latest Harry Potter Blu-Ray's ripped to the following settings. Keep in mind I really have no knowledge of what these settings do, just following a tutorial I found somewhere online.

Video Codec: H.264 (x264)
Frame Rate: Same as source
Average bitrate: 3,000kbps
2-Pass Encoding: On
Audio: 192kbit AAC 5.1 (is AC3 better? What about MP3?)
Subtitles: None

Then there are some advanced settings I never messed with. What is the issue here?
