im having serious problems when trying to set up my xbox to my pc

a problem i cannot seem to resolve, is that when i go to change my xbox's IP and then go back from the settings screen (using evox) it doesnt seem to change it

and when i go to flashFXP and try to connect i get an error message saying 'connection failed (connection time out)'

right, so ive changed my xbox's IP and network setttings jus like i read in the tutorial. I then set up my network card to connect to the xbox using the correct IP as shown.

so what am i doing wrong? i believe it is because the IP change on the xbox has no effect....please help smile.gif

dont worry....

i found out how to do it......i didnt change my ip on my xbox instead i just entered its current one when connectin to flashFXP and it connected

problem is, whenever i enter a disk in my xbox is boots up therefore losing the connection. anyway to stop the xbox from booting the game?
