Hey all...

I have a 1st Gen Xbox and a first Gen Solderless Mod Chip.

I took it out today because I want to play madden 06 on xbox live.

I aslo took out my HD and replaced it with the factory one.

But when I took the mod chip out, and I booted the xbox, I got a blank screen. Nothing comes up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the chip LPC based or is it an old 29 wire one?

That is what I was wondering...doubt it though...but hey...post pics of the chip to let us know what you are working with. What are the eject LEDS doing?

It sounds to me like the original BIOS is corrupt. You will quite probably have to TSOP flash the board with an original BIOS in order to get this to work again.

Its difficult to know exactlly what your problem is.

Please post what exactlly you know, like the eject button, what colour(s) are happening around it while its powered on?

Good luck beerchug.gif
