Rrod Removing Xclamps And Towel Trick Didnt Work, help plzz Options

my 360 just rrod yesterday it did it and i left it on for about 10 mins turned it off and it started then today it wouldnt do anything after buying the screws and washers to replace the x clamps did the 2 light heat up let it cool for a 1 hr and a half started it up and nothing. after all that frustration i decided to do the towel trick still nothing i just saw the post about the secondary error code i will do it in the morning when i get off and go from there. last week my power supply had turned red when i tried to turn it on i moved it straight to the wall had it in a surge protector seem to fix that, i have watched the strip when i turn it on green and normal state orange when off, any help would be appreciated i bought it used from gamestop almost a yr ago so there is no warranty and gamestop had broke the seal and did some type of refurb job or cleaned it or something so its either fix this on my own or trash it. i was using a cooler i dont see it on the website so i cant think of the name it wasnt nyko it added more usb ports , rca and hd plug in, plus vga and s-video came with a green component cable kept my system really cool never got warm. wlle thats everything the system manufacturing date is 4/15/06 if that helps thanks again for ne help

decided to get the error code before i leave for work and it was 0103

Make dure that the pins of the USB ports arent shorting out this can cause this error.
If it isnt that adjust the tightness of the screws.
And if this doesnt fix it either get a heatgun and reflow the GPU.

ok will try that, after i got off i took it apart and messed with it again and now i have error code 0100 wich is a unkown code and funny u mention usb when the power supply was turning red before this when charging my controller i notice that our puppy and chewed it up and it was charging and shorting together, after fixing that i had got a turtle beach headset and i would notice that it would stay on when i turned it off (xbox), i know that if you turn it off with your controller charging it will charge it then turn off i dont know if that is normal it seemed like the usb was always powered

Loosen the screws a bit this should get rid of it, if 0100 returns heatgun the thing..
