So I followed the instructions to the "T" bought a new eeprom, purchased a new 8 gb hdd. I waited and finally received the hdd. I spent 20 dollars (including shipping) on the hdd that was resting in my hands. The only problem was that it was too thick which was a dead give away and then I looked at the details 167 gbs. And being the dumb ass I am I figured hey maybe it will work. The people on Xbox-Scene who know better than me say it won't to other people but with my god like powers it will work for me right? wrong! It did work for about a day but as I sit here and see my favorite message from MS to me and my Xbox "Your xbox modded blah blah blah." I think why didn't I send it back be honest? This is the true meaning of karma....So is it proven that the marriage theory if followed to the "T" and not being a greedy SOB will work?

It's banned and has slayers and some games on it. If you want it I can sell it as is or format up to you. But I'm fine with that I don't need it.

same thing happened to me...i ordered a new stock hdd for $10.99

i get the package and open it up...bam its a 160gb seagate drive..

so i decided to load the drive, i use slayer 2.6 and installed everything..i then loaded a new eeprom

and bam did an account recovery and i am back on

i have been on now for 3 days..so you should be fine with a large hdd

I ordered mine from BMMods and I would be fine if I wasnt banned before I used it. And now both my 167 gbs are banned the one they sent me and my original. All I want is working XBL. Other wise my Halo 2 is getting old. I mean how many times can I beat the damn thing maybe after a thousand you get a new ending! Doubt it....If anyone wants to trade like that guy said I'm fine with that I need a 8-10 gb hdd with eeprom both unbanned and preferably unused on XBL. I think it's reasonable considering bmmods sell their 167 gbs for 115 dollars. And at most a 8gb and eeprom wouldnt cost more than 40 with shipping.

Best way not to get banned = BUY ANOTHER XBOX!

They aren't that much, go to your local pawn shop, pick one up for 100 bucks, be done with it, never get banned again... I bought a second xbox, a cyrstal infact and never looked back, I have *ZERO* fears of being banned, now or ever... seriously, consider it!

Jerek, I have stock 8-10GB drives (slimline Samsung, regualr Samsung, and WD) also have 1.0-1.5 & 1.6 EEPROMs.

I'll trade you for the big drive and pay shipping both ways.
