hey not long ago a few of my friends xbox just screwed up.. all using Xecuter 2.2 pro with the slayers installer disc and now there xbox's just dont start up it flashes red... no video or audio... I thought id tell everyone cuz this is "Hardware" forums. i dunno whats wrong.

any ideas people?

yes,

you probably have the bank switches incorrect.
you're probably booting using the built in cromwell bios that has limited capabilities
you're probably not flashing teh chip correctly, try padding out a 256k bios to 1 meg, and put it on the slayers,

OR, try hooking the pro up to a PC and flashing it with a good known working bios
