hey so I am trying to flash my benq in my new xbox arcade and whenever i try this happens:

When reading my drive, bank 0, 1 , 2 and 3 reads ok, then another screen appears saying :

"Error: File BACKUPS\serial#\serial#\Ben-OFW.bin does not exist! Program aborted!!"

I have the newest 1.5 ixtreme stealth 12x and am using a sata card. i set up the flash stick with iprep 8.8. I have tried a couple of the older ipreps but couldn't get them to read the 1.5 firmware. this happen to anyone else? any ideas? thanks in advance guys!

It sounds to me like firmtool is having issues, it was doing the same thing to me while trying to use it to updadte my BENQ to 1.5. The only way I could get it to work was to run firmtool from a folder on the root of my C:drive with the "Make iXtreme firmware.bat" file carrying out the commands, otherwise I was repeatedly told "benq-OFW.bin does not exist!". After the CFW was prepared I loaded it into iPrep and just flashed from there.
Hope this helps.

BTW, older versions of iPrep require the updated definitions to use iXtreme1.5

how would i go about do this now? I had tried iprep v6 with the updated definitions and that just would stay at 0x00.

if you are booted in DOS, make sure your firmware is something simply named like new.bin
I had problems with a "-" in the name or more than 8 characters.

I'm not saying thats the problem, but just to rule it out. In my opinion use only A through Z and 0 though 9 and underscores "_"

I would do this in folder names also and use underscore instead of spaces if you have to

hmm that seemed to work but after that it said "benofw.bat is not 256k aborting" then i tried to restart and run the dben again but it aborts because benofw.bat already exists...
