I picked up an xbox elite and was wondering if the 2yr warrenty that microsoft offers for $70 was worth it.

What actually do I gain by getting the extended 2yrs from microsoft? Don't they still cover the 3RROD for the next 3yrs I have my xbox?

They do, however that's the ONLY error they deal with after 1 year.

I have a 360 here which is just useful for parts, purely because of an E73 error (one red light). It's cheaper to sell the parts and buy another 360 than it is to pay for a repair.
