I liked the demo exept for the V-sync issues and framerate drop when driving. Mostly I am concerned about the v-sync.

Have they fixed these problems in the release?

no... although in game desnt seem as bad as the cut scenes. it doesnt bother me in game

The frame rate is what drove me nuts in the demo. Its one of the things thats keeping me away from getting this game.

in not fucking stupid, im really not getting them, 720p on a 55 inch HD, even the sniping missions on the high roofs and atop the grain elevator are smooth. even the driving at blazing speeds. only in the cutscenes do i get it, and its so bad i want to puke hehe

anyways... I get BAD screen tear and SOME framerate drops. I am on a regular TV with component hookups, the screen tears at least once a minute, usually more. The framerate has really only dropped badly a handul of times. Still enjoying the game, unlike that BLOODY STUPID NINETY NINE NIGHTS!! AHHHHHHHHHHH THAT FUCKING GAME IS DRIVING ME MAD!!!!

I get quite a few slowdowns in framerate and some tearing.

I usually run on 720p through component on my LCD (around 27" I believe). I tried 1080i and it does help a bit although only with the tearing. The framerate slowdowns still occur.

Very wierd as Saints Row runs very cool on my xbox 360 as well (when i feel the sides of the 360 it is fairly cool compared to when I play PGR3 or Call of Duty 2).

Probably just buggy code that I hope they fix in the patch!!!

I decided to take the plung and buy/play this game and I am pretty satisfied soo far. I do have to say that indoors during gameplay and during all cutscenes this game tears like a bitch, but for some reason outdoors during game play I don't notice the tearing, and the framerate has been fine.

I have yet to complete very much of the game so I don't know about all the glitches later in the game, but hopefully I get lucky and don't have that problem.
