B40 is the adapter you need. The family module is 22B, They come together in a package labeled B40-22. Unfortunately Needhams doesn't show the Emp11 as compatible with this chip. You will need to call their tech people and verify it will work before spending $100 for the adapter. The B40 units works great on the Emp20 and Emp30 models.

Thanks

do you know where I can get the B40.

The needhams emp11 is notorious for supporting devices that it does "not support."

There is a compatible AMD chip, just use the AMD settings.
I also have read chips that needhams says will never be compatible for the emp11.

Heres a trick, start up in demo mode, select emp30 select device. Shut down the program, restart in emp11 mode and the previous device is still selected. And read chip.

I do it for AM29DL chips which needhams told me on the phone cannot be made to work with the emp11.

anyway, thanks for the help
