So i'm upping for the 60GB model in two weeks and do want it modded, with it being 60GB 360 which is obviously new and released in Aug/Sep, so i'm guessing a Liteon Drive is coming my way, anyway...

How much (state your prices) is it to mod a Liteon...
Success rates?....
Can it go majorly wrong?....

Any other info i should know

You can't mod a Lite-On drive yet. Try to find an BenQ instead.

Oh.
How would i find a BenQ drive when i'm buying from Amazon or A shop, as it'd be boxed up...

What am i/do i need to actually look for.

If it comes with a 60GB HDD, it won't be a BenQ. Your best bet for finding one is to look at used units, but you might get lucky if you can find an old arcade unit in a store somewhere. This should help you figure out what MFR Date range to look for:
