I've got two dead 360s. Mine is an original Arcade with a Hitachi drive. His is one of the original Elites, with a BenQ drive. His drive died recently, and he wants me to swap the drives. I have things rigged up with JungleFlasher, and I need help on how to go about this. I've read that the Hitachi drives are kind of a b**** to play with for first timers.
I need to take the key off of the Benq and put it onto the hitachi. Anyone have a basic process for me to play with?

those days are gone, you could do that three years ago not nowadays you need to be replacing drives like for like, no spoofing allowed, then there no problems like stuck in update loop, e66 , ap2.5/6, and ban flagging.

From what i know, if the hitachi drive is a revision 79 then u can swap, just spoof the key on the hitachi and it should work fine, since hitachi 79 can read ap2.5. Of course this method is not live safe. For Information how to extract, and spoof the hitachi drive just read the manual of jungle flasher, all the info u need is there, with all the details.
