1022 AV cable error... There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. (could also be a problem with the encoder chip)
has anyone fixed one of these? its not the av lead ive tried that but ive never seen this error code before

maybe you would of seen this error if you had tried searching and had actually posted in the correct section.

theres a topic with a possible fix for it as well as videos in the general hardware chat

you have posted in a technical area for discussion on CPU/GPU/Bus hacking/research, not technical issues

by not ever hearing of this error, and not seeing the E74 *fix* on the first or second page of the general hardware section, it gives the impression you have done no searching what so ever

Hey guys,
I have an Xbox with error 1022 read it has something to do with the A/V cable or the encoder chip. I heat gunned the video chip and it fixed it but it keeps coming back. I did the x-clamp fix and the 12v fan mod. It'll work for about 2 weeks like this but then gets the 1022 error again.

AGAIN,
when I heat gun the video chip it works every time but then goes back to 1022 what can I do to keep this error from coming back?

Thanks!
