and theil prolly have the whole xbox painted different colors, not just the faceplate, cuz that be gay, lol, only the faceplate would be LE, right? So theid have to paint the whole case to have a real LE xbox360

it'll be faceplates cos they're easier, but then its not like there would be LE's because there will be hundreds, so they can't really make one rare...

and what special limited edition hardware would they do, a ram upgrade? by the mountain dew xbox 360 and get twice the ram! or the ibm and get an extra core free!

or maybe a completely blue xbox with a blu-ray dvd-rom!

Any place that has drops in sales I bet they are going to start there like in Canada and Japan. Thats why regular xbox LE's are so common there. I bet there will for sure be a Halo green LE but I am thinking it is going to cost a arm and a leg

I'm thinking more corporate LE's, like an IBM edition or something along those lines. It would be awesome if there were slight hardware benefits for LE's not just cosmetic. 

They couldn't give hardware advantages. That just wouldn't wrk. We all know that somes games just run too fast on the DreamX which has a faster proc and more memory.

It would be cool, though...

yeah im thinking faceplates and custom colours aswell.

i dont think extra hardware would work tbh, it would just be more hastle than they need.
They could maybe include a biggger hd but thats about it.

Also they could LE the dashboard aswell, things like that. It could even say on your gamer card that you have one.

but it seems like faceplate eh...... i think the whole i idea of an le is for some people to have what others dont. i think they will sell whole le insted of faceplates. but who knows. we'll i couple of years what they come out with.

I would imagine if any modification to the hardware were included in an "LE" console it would be auxiliary to gaming performance...

such as a BRD drive for BRD movies, built in DVR capabilities, or a larger hard drive etc. Nothing that would actually add to gaming performance.

I agree... But I HIGHLY doubt a BRD drive...Bulit in DVR well that's iffy, depends on the monthly charge for IPTV... A larger HDD is a sure bet It would be sweet if MS marketed the 360 as the "console perferred by hardcore modders and gamers!?!"

I'm betting one of the LE's almost certainly going to black (iif they do make LE's) , maybe actually extremely dark green, so dark it looks black *cough*.

But seriously, a black brushed aluminium 360 with some oddball LED colour would be nice (a blue/green mix, like aquamarine perhaps, or a plum colour , if these are possible).
