I install a "Globe 360" chip in a Samsung model tsh943 drive
drive work with all orig. 360 & movie dvds I did'nt have any 360 backup to try on it so I used some xbox1 backups and got a use orig. disk message. So being the tech that I am i rechecked my soder connection
and restarted my 360.
I get the dreaded E66 "oh !@$*" I desoder the chip and reconnect a tracer pointon the drive controller and prade that the Globe chip took the damage.
YES!!! System comes back with no error tray ejects works all thing look good, i go to play rb6 vegas online demo play 2 rounds and my screen go black system lockup I unplug the 360 and plug it back in and turn it back on I get E65........
Here the rub to my plea for help I don't have a backup of the orig. firmware or key.
So What my next step????????

first thing to handle is getting that firmware backup so you can have your key instead of a $300 doorstop

since the firmware is not modified you should be able to use xtreme boot maker and samread to make your backup WITHOUT using the bad flash method, but the bad flash method should work if nothing else is working for you

after you have the backup, you can try re-flashing your drive with the proper release and toss out the globe chip, but if re-flashing does not work, you will need a replacement drive

p.s. xbox1 backups will not work with your globe chip
