Okay i used to be able to play games off hd fine, then all of the sudden they lagged or didnt even boot up, so i thought it was the original HD, so i upgraded to a new seagate, and i get the same thing, games lag althought a little less, and some dont even boot up or take a super long time to load. Sometimes ill get a compnay logo, and it goes black....so anyone know how i could speed things up, or atleast what could possibly be causing it? Thanks

The cache is only x,y,z right? Cause those are cleared unsure if udata and tdata are cache too? those have alot of files though.

Could you elaborate on the bad connections?
Will any IDE cable be good, if that indeed is my problem?

Thanks for the speedy replies

DO NOT DELETE UDATA & TDATA! unless you want to lose custom soundtracks and ALL gamesaves. The only cache that is on your HDD is anything in the x, y, and z drives, and also a folder called CACHE on the E drive.
