Hi, noob here...

I need to wire up my USB NAND programmer to the XBOX360 motherboard so that I could reprogram the NAND.

Question is, after the job is done, may I leave it there wired up for future reprogramming? Or do I have to disconnect it and reconnect it every time I intend to reprogram the NAND?

Thanks!

You can leave it hooked up. It should not cause any harm.

Some people just dremel the side of their case under the hard drive to make easy access.

Some people have used CAT5 cable and used the connectors. Then they just wire the one connector to the board so when they hook up their programmer, it just snaps into the connector. Of course you just have to make sure your wires match the points on the motherboard as they do on the programmer.

Thanks for all of the replies, guys. I guess I'll go ahead and just leave the programmer inside, of course carefully insulated and affixed.
