360 Related..f.e.a.r Pc Demo Options

Damn it now I gotta keep watching G4 and hope it comes on again! If this is true then I have to get it. Man theres too many game to get my head is gonna explode. Looks like my and deft gonna be broke this fall

lowered res to 8x6 but I could still use 2x AA and 4x AF..everything was Medium I believe. I tried High and 1024x768 and it was pointless.

some mobo tweaks helped a little as well. I got it to run very smooth, even though some jaggies were pooping out and trying to kill me

lol, I only DL'd it because I remember hearing it was headed to 360, and instead of renting, a free DL is always better.

Ive done that with many games, Splinter Cell being the best of all. I knew when I tried that demo, a masterpiece was about to hit the Xbox



and this game seemed easier to run than doom 3 and HL 2. Then again, I ran those at 1024x768 and higher and had some settings that were a tad too high. If it wasnt for overclocking everything in this rig, it wouldnt be feasible. But for the short time I try demos, its worth a shot.

Damn... I wish I could try some of this stuff...

I finally finished remodeling my office/workshop Last night I ran ethernet and started setting up my PC (which has been sitting for a bit over a month now).

After everything all plugged in I fired it up... boots up quick right in to windows about 5 seconds later my temp alarm goes off... the temps at 130F and I realize the coolant isn't flowing...

I guess the coolant settled in a certain spot and fried one of the pumps when I fired it up... I was all psyched to get my PC back and view all of these HD trailers and PC demo's of soon to be 360 games but nope... I order the replacement parts today but it looks like I'll be waiting at least another week before I finally get to use my PC

ahh dont ya hate that! sorry to hear about the pc troubles.

atleast you know the problem early on, I hate troubleshooting only to end up pulling your hear out all night

Did that several weeks back and it drove me nuts for a week or 2.

I think you'll like the demo, hope you get the parts soon so you can give it a whirl
