I have noticed in the forums that no1 has used a usb hub to connect their keyboard, mouse and other stuff to their xbox.

I was wondering if this is possible.

I am planning on buying the lik-sang.com usb xbox controller port converter and a usb hub.

I just have a question... can you only tell if usb ports are working with linux? Like can you have the led's for numlock and caps turn on when hit the button or do i have to wait 'til my hard drive comes and install linux on?

yes, a hub will work.

Also the keyboard and mouse don't become active right off the bat. You have to wait for the boot process to complete.
