i tried to burn it to 3 different cd-rw's but it wont work (have many backup games on same cd-rw's so i know it will read the cd's). im wondering if it will work w/ an enigmah final?

yes it will work with that chip and with xtender 1.1
but not all features will work, the hard drive replacement requires evolution x bios from what ive heard

so why doesnt it read my cd-rw when i tried to burn it? and have u tried it yet? will it mess up my enigmah if i use the program?

By looking into the Elvolution X ISO (v1.8.458), I noticed that it doesn't ship with a menu.ini.... does Evolution X default to a built in menu or fail to load completely when there's no menu.ini file ?

I haven't tried Evolution X yet since my Xbox is at a friends house smile.gif

I burned it to CD-RW and mine won't boot either. I burned it to DVD-R and DVD-RW and it works fine. I don't know why it won't boot on CD-RW since most games boot fine that way. I have found that some games/xbox apps won't work on my xbox on CD-RW (xbplayer is one that has to be on DVD for me). Go figure.
