Hey all, I've had my 1st xbox since the days of the final enigmah chip, and i flashed the on board bios and all (wire 15 and 21 method back in the day! biggrin.gif ) The problem is I have EVOX 2.2 Bios on my xbox, and as you all know, those are WAAAAAAY Old Bios! I have evox 2.6 bios, but I do not want to attepmt to install them without asking first.

So my question is really, how would I install the evox 2.6 bios on my xbox?

Would I just FTP it into the c: on the xbox and put it in the bios folder?

My Bios are located at /C/roms/EvolutionX V2.2.bin

I know this sounds all retarded unsure.gif since I am outdated, but I would really appreciate help. Thanks! wink.gif

If you've already done the flashing of the TSOP (meaning you've soldered the 2 write-enable points on the motherboard), then you should be able to just re-flash it using the EvoX dashboard.

Since you likely have a 1MB flashrom, you'll need to find/create a 1MB bios image, place that in the BIOS directory (along with the proper hash in the evox.ini) and then flash the chip.

In case any of this sounds like gibberish, there should be more in-depth tutorials on xbox-scene.
