I'm getting setup to do an xbox to pc case mod and i need a few cables...I know i'll need a long dvd power cable, anyone know where to find one? Anyone know a good site to get cables from for cheap?

im not sure if that question REALLY needed to b asked try radio shack or best buy comp usa computer store theres even store that sell old parts for cheap check the phone book

i'm in Japan, (misawa air base) and radio shack wont ship to me. I am looking for xbox specific cables... i.e. the hard to come by dvd power cable, i've seen extensions on here before for it but i cant find them now, thats why I asked.

I need that too. What kinda cable is that anyway? Can you buy it at any old radio shack? Seems like a tough cable to come by

i dont think you can get them from Radio Shack..you'll just have to search...someone makes them

I thought the xbox dvd power/data cable was proprietary and solely developed by MS. Since MS doesn't support modding, I doubt they sell these.

What you could do is take the one you have now, cut the wires in the middle, and solder extensions to them.
