so i have to change the file to xboxdash.xbe or can i leave the origianl name

i have x2.2 pro w/ 4977 bios

i haven't installed evox yet, only backed up the HD

the original name is evoxdash.xbe... but how can i make the bios boot that insetead of original MS dash... i really don't want to rename the file and then re-rename it again when i trun off my mod chip

Xbox Version: v1.1
have xboxdash AND evoxdash on ur c drive. When u boot with the chip on, the 4977 bios should load evoxdash and when it is off, the original bios should load xboxdash. If u got 4977 and theydont boot evoxdash, u should use xbtool to edit the bios and then flash ur chip.

so basicaly you saying that i should just drop evox files into the c: and it "should" work...

if not then use xboxtoo... by the way... is xbox tool xbox app or PC app??

360 version: v5.0 (360S - trinity)
xboxtool is a PC app, and just put evoxdash.xbe and evox.ini into the root of and the 4977 bios WILL (not should, but WILL) load evox

if theevox file is not present it will go to its secondary boot file which i believe is nexgendash.xbe then its third which is xboxdash.xbe
