Hey, im a n00b, and lookin for a anotehr harddrive. I have no idea what brand to get, what size to get, and what type, like internal etc. can some1 please tell me exactly wat i need.
and recomend a good online buying site (p.s. im from Canada, and lotsa online shops dont send to Canada)

i have a maxtor 120g, and it works flawlessly.....you can get a good deal on maxtors right now as well. mine was 89.99 after rebate. i got mine from office depot....theres plenty of deals out there!

yup i also bought one of those maxtor 7200 rpm 160gig hds, the retail was 160 but it was on sale for 129 plus 40 dollar rebate so its 89 smile.gif but i put it on the pc not the xbox since i dont put my game on the hd

I think puting games on the HD is sweet. I have all my games (20 or so) apps and emulators on there and I still got around 85 gigs to spare. =)

Any new standard pc hardrive should work. The one that's in there is 5400 rpm so anything with at least that should do it. Most are 7200 now days.

if you want to play on "live", you must remember to buy a hdd that is "lockable".... you can check lockability HERE
