Right, the problem is that wih xSnex9x working on my xbox, an roms put in place...I cant boot them.

Do I need a bios for my snes emu, if so where do I get it from and put it!?

Snes emus doesn't need any bios, I'm not sure why it isn't working.
You put your roms in the right folder?

What happens?

1. Does the emulator load?

2. Does the emulator start loading, then go to a black screen?

3. Does the emulator lock up when you first load the program?

4. Does the emulator see the games that you put in the roms directory?

5. Does the emulator lock up after you search for available roms?

6. Does the emulator lock up after you start a game?

I need a bit more information, before I can try to help...

amstrad are you using MXM for your dashboard. I found out the long way that if i used the force pal60 option that my snes roms wouldn't load for some reason. If you have anything enabled like that try it back to default.

Thanks guys.
Okay, my emu see's the roms, but when I tr to load them it freezes.
Im using EvoX, not mxm but I have pal 60 turned on althouh I dont think its "forced"....I dont know how to turn "forced" on / off either!

Any ideas?

edit: Alright, lets start from the basement.

Have you tried deleting everything in the SNES save folder (located in the TDATA and UDATA directories on e:\?)

Just do this first.

If you are not using the latest evolution-x (3921) then turn off IGR.

If you are, then disable your pal60 settings and run others (ntsc ..whatever)

See if it boots.

If that doesnt work, THEN delete your saves via the memory browser in MS dash, restart, and play the emu and see if it works.

okay... I cant find any snes files on my ms dashboard!
It looks like everthing is saved into the file 90x26, but theres no saved info in there either....ahh!

You are talking about Hikaru-san's Snes9x-X.
It sucks compared to Lantus-san's xSnes9x,
delete Snes9x-X and download xSnes9x at once.

I didnt realise...for some reason.
Anyho'...I cant get roms to work, snes9 -X just freezes!

It's weird, but since xSnes9x doesn't share any setup with
Snes9x-X, they won't interfere with eachother, and xSnes9x
will work. Just wait until you get xSnes9x before you try to
do anything more. happy.gif
