I have just got myself an aladdin adv modchip, but this thing needs some wires. Basically i have a couple of options.

1: Flexible Hookup Wire
Rating: 1A Nom.
Conductors: 10 x 0.12mm
Cross Sectional Area: 0.11mm square
Insulation: PVC

2: Medium Duty Hook up Wire
Rating: 4.5A Nom.
Conductors: 10 x 0.25mm
Cross Sectional Area: 0.49mm square
Insulation: PVC

3: Ultra Heavy Duty Hook up Wire
Rating: 30A MAX.
Conductors: 41 x 0.32mm
Cross Sectional Area: 3.3mm square
Insulation: PVC

Now, im tempted to get the first option, but will that wire be able to handle the xbox's amperage? Or should i just go for the second option?

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but im really stuck here, i know nothing about wires thenselves (but i can solder etc).

you want very small wires for modchips

very small wires to handle very little curent

so, assuming you're not trying to do something exotic and are just soldering in a modchip

i'd go for option 1 flexible hookup wire

if you're planning on installing a 13 amp electrical 3 bar room heater, option 3 is the one to go for

good luck
