I 100% agree with intelligoth...

make it so that it HAS TO be read or at least scrolled thru like the old napster license agreement.

(note: half this board would be gone if this post was made earlier...)

Riiight, because everyone always reads those license agreements. wink.gif

Will the irony be lost on some if it were a tutorial? Most likely. Perhaps a non-sarcastic tutorial about how to write a newbie post is in order. I could do it seriously, I was just a little annoyed at the time of writing.

Well while I took a rather sarcastic tone with this post I do genuinely want to help people to write better, more descriptive posts. Unforutnately the root of the problem isn't not having enough information out there but rather that people just don't search, read the pinned topics or ar just plain too lazy to try to find the answers for themselves.

As I previously said, if anyone thought it would do any good I would try to write a non-sarcastic tutorial on post writing. I just doubt that it would do any good. The type of people that it would be designed to help wouldn't read it anyway so it may not be worth it.
