I don't know about everyone else, but for me it's not the actual game that's fun(which is), it's the multiplayer.

yeah, the multiplayer is definatlye what the game is all about.
THe story mode is fun but I admit there are better out there.
MY friend is an avid cube fanboy and he likes metroid better and in some instances I agree with him. except that metroid has to multiplayer support

That actually was something I would have liked to have seen was "bots" to play against in Multiplayer. I always liked all the different bots you could download for Quake. My favorite was the Ninjabots.

I think Halo definitely gets hyped up a lot but justly so. The singleplayer game is really fun and interesting but the multiplayer is what really gives this game its replay value. The multiplayer is just great. Nearly two years later and we still have nearly weekly 4-12 player fragfests at my apartment.

I think the controls for Halo are just smoother and more realistic than most other FPSs out there. Also the AI (in singleplayer) is probably the best AI in any FPS I've ever played.

Crap. Some of us still play Smash Bros. Melee to no end, either.
Almost every game is overrated by someone, most times. It's a matter of opinion. I really dug Halo, but I'm not that great at FPS games, so the multiplayer didn't do it for me.
Tho truth be told, if we could play a 60 frames per second Perfect Dark on the Xbox, it would easily rule Halo, graphics downgrade & all.

as for halo, it is probbally the best game out becasue of its replay value, i wish the games kept stats like total kills and time. if we could see that i know halo would outdo all other games
