Congratulations and thanks to Momdad, Kolfuzion, and Xantium for getting the site back up, I missed it immensely!

On the site, it says thumbnails, help screens and preview vids, but no preview vids are listed, will they be available in the future?

I think Koldfuzion took them off, cause they were hogging too much bandwidth.

Actually, I just got word from Xant that we are using way too much bandwidth. Granted, part of the rush is probably due to the news announcement.. and lack of other sites hosting the wide assortment of skins that we do.

In an effort to prevent the site from being forced out of business due to leechers... I will be putting the anti-leech script back into the puzzle in the very near future. It was originially in the script, but removed because we were getting too many emails saying they couldnt download anything (turns out most of those users where complaining cause they couldnt download EVERTHING).

I dont care anymore... once the script goes into effect.. everyone will be able to download 10 skins from each app in a 24 hour period... and if you can't -->I dont give a fuck. Im not going to lose hosting again.. and I dont think those that dont leech really want us to.

its not that I "dont want the files to get out" because I do..that was the purpose of the site. But there can be excessive abuse.. and that is what we are wanting to deal with.

Is there a way to base it off of size, rather than number, or a combination?

I'm thinking it would be good to limit to even fewer skins when they are big... allow people to get lots of the little skins, but limit the size to 30MB or so per day (1 skin at least).

As long as a pop-up came up when they've exceeded their allotment, there shouldn't be too many complaints (if there are, those people don't really deserve access anyway )

good idea. I know it can be done.

I might have to go with the old code for now, just to get the site under control. THe old code will let you specify different download amounts. I knew when i wrote it that the mxm skins would be a hefty load.. so i limited mxm to 10, evox to 30, xbmp to 10, cpxmenu to 30 etc. But i like the filesize idea better than a count.. not all mxm skins are over 10mb, so i would help even things out a little more.

Thanks for the suggestion BJ, Ill work to get that implemented.
