Ok here is my scenario

I had an enigmah mod chip installed and ran the original dashboard ...all games ran fine and recently the new ones had to be patched. When playing a DVD I was able to use my remote with the infared plugged into the controller port...

I recently took out the enigmah chip and had an Aladdin chip installed and added evox.


I can switch back to the madashboard to change the time , but when I try a dvd movie I cannot use the remote...

If I run the DVD movie through evox I can use the controller


Is there a way that I can get the remote to work with either evox or again with the msdashboard..

If you think logicallly if your using the dongle with dvdx2 not compatible I would think i don't know i sold my dongle after i installed dvdx2 this maybe with tsettings ask around in software forumns

I dont think Im using dvdx2 ...but I know I have a copy of it...how do I install it..
