There is a new controller for the XBOX from SJS called the Hip Screen Pad. It has a small LCD built into the pad. It looks intersting and at $99 it seems ok. I was wondering if anyone here has had any first hand experience with one.

Here is a link to check it out.

Doesn't really look worth it, it's probably best to go with the lcd screen that attatches to the xbox. At least you could see something.

No first hand experience, but that screen looks tiny. I can't imagine that the resolution will be up to much.

For traveling? You still need to lug the big ass box around with you and find an AC power outlet. I have a PSX and DC in my car, I was thinking about putting an XBox in as well until I got one in hand and saw the size of the thing. No way I can find a place to stash it in my Civic. PSX was hard enough, but both PSX/DC fit nicely under the seats, Xbox.. hmmm... no where to put it.. Do people actually think of traveling with their XBox? I can understand in an RV, or big ass SUV, but those would have their own TV's anyway...

Thank you all for the information. I was thinking of it for traveling with the kids in the van. That way I could have the XBOX mounted near me in the front and not have to worry about them messing with the DVD tray or the discs. I figure if they can handle looking at a gameboy screen for hours on end thet should not have any problem with this.

The Interact screen is a tad better and can be removed from the Xbox.

This could be it.
I want to set up me xbox as a mp3-player without turning on my 42" TV.
Whats the resolution?
Does it f**k up my RGB signal to the TV?
