X-S Expert Group: Members Posts: 633 Joined: 1-March 03 Member No.: 25691	Ive read taht the ati radeon 9000 only supports directx 8.x. Ive also read that halo PC requres directx 9 or later. does thsi mean that a computer with the radeon 9000 wont play halo? do alot of recent games require directx9?

I jus t dont want to spend a bunch of money on this laptop and then not be anle to play new games on it. If it will run halo and other games then I will be happy with it I am sure. especially with voodoo's upgrade policy whic would alow me to upgrade it later when I have the money to do so.
